Ramadan effect people in strange ways

Some you find are lazy from the morning

Some look pissed and angry all the time

And some lose some IQ from not eating…

Today I encountered one type, I was talk with a guy and he told me that the game he downloaded doesn’t fit on the DVD, its four point one six, and his DVD burner can burn up to four point seven
I told him wait a minute, four point one six or four point six one? because the later wouldn’t fit ( then I was like eh wait a minute , both fit but I distracted the other from noticing ) so I take out a paper and write the two number

4.7
4.16

And he said yeah it’s four point one six but they omit the zero at the end

Then it clicked, and he was like Oh my God

Ramadan Kareem :)

  2. hmm i remmber they teach us its effect

    in dictionary.com
effect Something brought about by a cause or agent; a result

    and dictionary.com for affect
To have an influence on or effect a change in: Inflation affects the buying power of the dollar.

    they also have this

Usage Note: Affect and effect have no senses in common. As a verb affect is most commonly used in the sense of “to influence” (how smoking affects health). Effect means “to bring about or execute”: layoffs designed to effect savings. Thus the sentence These measures may affect savings could imply that the measures may reduce savings that have already been realized, whereas These measures may effect savings implies that the measures will cause new savings to come about

    i think i’ll go with effect :p

  3. This must be affecting me too, because I still don’t get it…

And ya, effect is correct for the title :)

  4. I hate to say it, but I think Me is right:

affect: means it’s doing something at the time.

effect: is the resut of whatever’s been done to it.

So: Ramadan affects people in strange ways.
Or: People acting strange is probably an effect of fasting.

Give me the virtual smackdown if I’m wrong. It’s 6am and I’m only human :)
