If you were wondering where the name come from wonder no more
There are list of Names to pick from , the list is compilation of Contribution from Nations that are mostly to get effected by cyclone
so for tropical cyclone in North Indian Ocean , the nations are ” Bangladesh India Maldives Myanmar Oman Pakistan Sri Lanka Thailand”

Yesterday i went to pickup grocery for the house , the Co-OP are gold mine for comedy with misspelled words and such
but i think we need to draw a line here
this is just too much
and no i didn’t buy that brand

So the family needed to buy a Pickup , and because its to be Abused i went to buy something cheap and reliable
after a bit of search At showrooms i found the a new Brand Yangzi
An unknown really , but with a price gap of at least 400 KD between it and other known brands
after i took it from the showroom
it stayed at the house for a while , then i took it to Wafra
the Drive wasn’t Easy , since the car was manual and its been a long time since i last drove one , of course i did the beginner error ( you aren’t used to hit the clutch when you break ) it stopped twice 
once at our Area and one at Wafra
Which isn’t bad , but none the less the car was nice , the AC was working nicely , the Radio was working great till i reached near Wafra it started to stutter , then i noticed that the Radio Areal wasn’t raised ( which would have explained the problem )
of course since i took it from one drive couldn’t see the gas usage .

In an Interview with Alwatan Daily in Kuwait for the Week Topic ( which was about blogging , more like attacking bloggers ) , the Secretary of the Kuwaiti Journalists Association said what is on his mind about bloggers .
which is amazing what he think of blogs , and how many times he show that he demand they be closed or controlled , and that coming from a guy who is supposed to ask for more freedom of speech is priceless irony
Of course the interview had Way too many Gems , I’ll try to translate some of these gems in the interview here
- ما معلوماتك عن المدونة أو المدونات؟ وهل تتعامل معها؟
- المدونات هي المواقع الالكترونية التي تبث على «الانترنت» دون ادنى مسؤولية على اصحابها أو المشاركين فيها وهو الامر الذي يعد مكمن خطورة هذه المدونات.
وعن نفسي اتابع بعض هذه المدونات خصوصا تلك التي تعتبر جادة وتستحق ان تقرأ من قبل مرتادي الانترنت.. الا ان ذلك لا يعني ان كل المدونات جيدة بل على العكس معظم هذه المدونات فوضوية وخارجة عن نطاق السيطرة وتشكل خطورة كبيرة على تكوين الفكر لدى الشباب وذلك عبر ما يبث فيها من «كلام» وافكار خطيرة!!
واكمل القناعي: اصحاب «المدونات» غير الهادفة يستغلون عدم وجود مسؤولية قانونية أو اخلاقية أو دينية أو سياسية أو حتى اجتماعية على هذه المدونات وبالتالي نجدهم يختبئون خلف اسماء مستعارة ويمارسون بث هذه المدونات عن طريق مقاهي «الانترنت» المنتشرة في كافة ارجاء الوطن العربي وبشكل واسع بدون اية رقابة عليها.. الامر الذي يسهل لاصحاب المدونة ان يتعرضوا لأمور لا يمكن التعرض لها من خلال وسائل الاعلام سواء مقروءة أو مسموعة أو مرئيه

Blogs are electronic sites that are transmitted on the internet with Minimum liability on owners and participators , which is why blogs are dangerous , for my self i do follow some blogs , those who are respectable and are worth reading from the internet users , but that doesn’t mean all blogs are good , on the contrary most of these blogs are anarchist and out of control and are a big danger on
The composition of thought among young people thought dangerous talks and ideas !
and he added : the owners of these blogs abuse that there is no legal or moral or religious or political or even social responsibility on these blogs , thats why we find them hiding behind fake names and counties to transmit these blogs by way of internet Cafes which is widely spread on a round scale in the Arabic world and has no control over it , which make it easier for bloggers to deal with matter that aren’t talked about in the media
- باعتبارك امين سر جمعية الصحافيين فما رأي الاعلام وخاصة الصحف في المدونة واثرها على المجتمع خاصة مع مع يقال عن مساهمة بعضها في اتخاذ القرار في الكويت بخصوص بعض القضايا؟
- لا نريد ان نعطي المدونات اكبر من حجمها الطبيعي!!
من وجهة نظر عملية بحتة اقول انه لا يمكن للمدونة ان تخلق رأيا عاما أو تؤثر في اتخاذ القرار أو صنعه خاصة في بلد حر مثل الكويت.. خصوصا اذا وضعنا في الاعتبار ان نسبة المتابعين لهذه المدونات لا تزال حتى الآن قليلة وغالبية المطلعين عليها يتعاملون معها من منطق الفضول والعلم بالشيء والاطلاع على بعض المشاركات التي لا يمكن ان تكتب في الصحف كتبها اشخاص غير معروفين!!
واستطرد: وبالتالي فإن كل ممنوع مرغوب.. وما حدث اثناء اثارة موضوع مثل تقليص الدوائر اثير في الصحف والندوات العامة كذلك اثير من قبل اعضاء مجلس الامة وهو الامر الذي كان له تأثير اكبر واوقع في موضوع تقليص الدوائر.
واكمل: هذه هي الاسباب الحقيقية وراء تقليص الدوائر اما «المدونة» فلها تأثير على سن معين فقط اما اصحاب القرار فلا تؤثر عليهم مثل هذه الاعمال.. بالاضافة الى ان الشباب الذين يتأثرون بالمدونات وغيرها هم في الغالب ينتمون الى الفئات غير المؤثرة في صناعة القرار ذلك ان اعمارهم صغيرة ولا يسمح لهم بالمشاركة في التصويت للانتخابات أو غيرها.. وبالتالي فعلينا الا ننخدع بما تثيره بعض «المدونات» من قصص نتيجة الخيال الواسع الذي يملكه صاحبها أو اصحابها!!!
- Since you are the Secretary of the Kuwaiti Journalists Association what does the media and especially the newspaper think its effect on some cases and what is said of that they effected some dissection making in Kuwait
We don’t want to give blogs a bigger weight that’s its true effect on dissection making
From a scientific point of view I say that no blog can create public opinion or effect it in a free country like Kuwait,
Keeping in mind that the followers of these blogs are still small and most people that view it view it just out of curiosity to check topic that some unknown wrote that he couldn’t have written on newspaper
The redistricting issue was raised in newspapers and public forums and also by members of parliament, which had bigger impact and more important.
And he counties : these are the real reasons behind redistricting , But “ Blog “ has effect on certain age not decision makers , also youth that are effected by blogs are part of groups that are not influential in decision-making because they are young are not eligible to vote , so don’t be fooled by what some blogs say that they did , because that’s all some make believe fantasy by the owners of blogs
في رأيك.. ما هو هدف المدون بمعنى هل يبحث عن شهرة اعلامية أو اجتماعية معينة؟!.. ام انه فعلا صاحب رأي ويعبر عن رأيه من خلال هذه الوسيلة؟
- اعتقد ان معظمهم يعانون من عقد نفسية واجتماعية.. فهم يعجزون عن اظهار اسمائهم الحقيقية ويلجأون الى اسلوب «التخفي» في التعبير عن آرائهم بحيث يتسنى لهم ان ينتقدوا كيفما يشاؤون طالما ان لا احد يحاسبهم من منطلق ان لا احد يعرفهم!!.. وهي اشياء اعتقد انها وليدة خوف وعدم ثقة في النفس وعدم قدرة على تحمل تبعيات الرأي..
واستطرد: مثلا.. نحن ككتاب نكتب يوميا آراءنا بلا خوف أو خشية ونتحمل مسؤولية ما نكتب امام القانون والقضاء والمجتمع..!!
وبالتالي فمن يتخفى وراء اسم مستعار في «مدونة» مجهولة فإنه يبقى ويظل «مجرما» لا يختلف عن أي مجرم آخر يرتكب جريمته في الخفاء والظلام ويهرب حتى لا يعرفه احد!!
وتابع: الشجاعة في وجهة نظري هي في المواجهة وليس الطعن في الظهر والاختباء.. لذلك فأنا اقول لبعض «المدونين» وللمشاركين معهم بأسماء مستعارة انتم جبناء وعملاء لأنظمة تريد اثارة «البلبلة» والفتنة في الكويت ولا تهدفون ابدا لمصلحة بلدكم!!

- لا اعتقد ذلك على الاطلاق ذلك ان الدستور الكويتي عندما رسم حرية الرأي وكفلها فقد ربطها أي حرية الرأي بالقانون الذي ينظمها ولا يوجد شيء يسمى حرية رأي «متفلتة» أو بدون قانون في أي مكان في العالم.. وذلك بهدف حماية الناس من انفلات البعض.. وبالتالي فإن اللجوء الى المواقع الالكترونية بوجود حرية منظمة من قانون الصحافة ودستور وديموقراطية ومجلس هو امر غير صحيح وغريب واجد انه لا داعي لوجود «مدونات» في ظل ما نتمتع به من حرية تعمل في الخفاء والظلا
- in your opinion what is the purpose of the blogger ? does he look for publicity or some social status ? or is he really a man with an opinion and want it to be heard
I believe that most of them have social and sociological problems , because they are unable to show their real names and hide behind nicknames to express them selves so they can critique as much as they want since no one can control them which are because they have no self confidence and unable to bear the weight of their opinion
And he further explained : for example we as writers write in our real names and do not fear and are able to bear the weight of our opinion in front of society and the law
So anyone hiding behind a nickname in unnamed blog is a criminal and has nothing to separate him from other criminals that hide in the dark
So I say to some bloggers you are cowards and traitors and work for other regimes that does not want peaceful Kuwait and wish to harm it and you do not look for the interest of Kuwait

The reason for blogging as some say is for more freedom of expression?
I don’t think so , the Kuwaiti constitution when it guaranteed the freedom of expression
it linked it to the law which guide this freedom , there is nothing as unlimited freedom or uncontrolled freedom of expression in anywhere in the world and that to protect people from others abuse
so using electronic sites when there is freedom in the press is unnecessary
and I think that there is no reason for having blogs in the first place
so there you have it , the last line explain all his mentality ” I think that there is no reason for having blogs in the first place ”
its funny how he claim we have freedom ( we do , limited one ) then want to crack down on blogs , are they that scary to you ?
