Well i went there , bought some books , and took some pictures 
if you are looking for English books there isn’t much there , its mainly Arabic
anyway , what i noticed this year
( for past year view check this [link] )
- no picture this time for syria which is a good thing
to see how its should be done the saudies give us a good example
- of course it wouldn’t be a good show without a country disrespecting kuwait in some way
flag in the pathway ? i wanted to smack it to drop it , keep your flag in your stand
- speaking of stands , Kuna stand was the best content award

why the question you ask ?
was reading today newspaper and found this small thing

what it basically says is that
” It is possible that the Kuwaiti horse jumping team may withdraw from the last round of the Arab competition because of the high height of 150 meters that the horse must jump and the Kuwaitis horses are not eligible for such height ”
wow here ! hold your horses !! 150 meters jump ? what horse can jump that ? is there a horse that can jump 150 meters ?!
i checked horse jumping on wiki there the there is 7 feet’s ( aka 2.6 meters )
so lets assume its 150 centimeter ( which would mean the guy reviewing in that newspaper suck ) what kind of horse we sent there that can’t jump 150 centimeter ?!? as the wiki link it can go as high as 2.6 meters ! and we send horses that can’t jump 1.5 meters ?!
now i want to see that competition ,, i want to see horses jumping 150 meters in the air !!

As far as i know ,, and according to the Kuwait international fair company [ KiF ]
The book fair is from 13th till 23 of November
of course i haven’t noticed any ad or even a small bit in the newspapers ( other than some general complaining about banning of books which happen every year ) way to go The National Council for Culture, Arts and Literature
the good part that the NCCAL* have a website and they set a side a section for Kuwait book fair
but its in Arabic [ link ]
* thats the short they used on their home page , i didn’t make this up , i just love the irony that it sound like the Kuwait word nagal نغل which translate into a$$hole

Time and time again i get the feeling that logic is a banned substance in Kuwait
How is asking for democracy and quota for woman logical ?
How do we want to make Kuwait a finical harbor ( as everyone from higher up claim ) when i can’t import a book / DvD / Video Game without it begin delayed at the customs for 2-3 weeks ?
How can we be a Finical harbor when the mail doesn’t get delivered ?
Why we Blame the Parliament for not building anything new in Kuwait when it was suspended from 1986-1992 and the government have the upper hand when they feel like it
How is it logical that every professional ask for a special Raise because of wage gap between them and other profession ?
How is it logical that my name spelling in English is not the same in my passport and driving license when they are printed by the same ministry
This country need a big amount of logic ,, either we need to Import it or produce it locally ( very hard it seem ,, we lack logical people i believe )
