by that list we see that the ds has a small lead on PsP ( understandable since it was relased before the PsP ) but the list also prove that the PsP is not the DS killer it was said to be

but what would drive the sale of PsP i think is now the UMD is cracked , and games can be run from the memory ( some torrent site already have games to download ) and there is a lot of porgrams that convert media into PsP thing for it to run

same as Ps2 , its still selling strong because you can buy it and live on copys , but with game cube for example , there is no copy , unless you want to follow a plan with painfull steps

of course i don’t have nither a DS or PsP , i’m thinking of going to the state , maybe i’ll pickup something there ( just like when i picked up the game cube ) prices here in kuwait are kinda priced as if 1 $ = 1 Kd

one great book i read around 7 month ago , the book talk about the story of ID software John Carmack and John Romero the two people behind the great game doom

anyway , the book is going to be truned into a showtime movie !

The film industry trade publication Variety announced today that Showtime plans to make a bio-pic movie based on Masters of Doom, the 2003 released non-fiction book on the formation of Doom developer id Software.
The executive producer and scriptwriter for the movie is Naren Shankar, who currently is an executive producer on CBS’s crime show CSI and has written scripts for shows like The Outer Limits and Farscape. Shankar stated in the Variety story that he first learned about about the David Kushner authored book by reading a review in an engineering journal. The book chronicled the formation of id Software and in particular focused on the developer’s two driving forces, its master programmer John Carmack and designer John Romero. There is no word yet on when Showtime plans to start production on the movie.
