I got this in my E-mail so i wanted to bring it to others attention

The Embassy of Spain and the National Council for Culture, Arts and Letters are pleased to join forces to bring to the public of Kuwait the best flamenco music and flamenco show from Spain.

The performance by the David Pérez ensemble as part of the Spring Festival is undoubtedly one of the musical highlights of the season. David, winner of the 2003 National Flamenco Award in Spain, will be heading a cast of 7 other talented performers and musicians from Sevilla to present a sample of the most imaginative and entertaining flamenco available today.

Already enjoying substantial success overseas, the David Pérez ensemble will be touring Qatar, Kuwait and two African countries next May. They will perform for the general public in Kuwait Wednesday May 17 at the Abdulaziz Hussein Hall in Mishref at 20:00 hrs.

Welcome to the very best flamenco performance and music that Kuwait has ever seen. Entrance is free.

And if you were wondering why i have not posted lately i’m swarmed with exams and project , i do have some stuff planned after the end of this course

Well after a few online checking & some phone calls I found out who is running Himam campaign

Thanks for Idip for providing the website Himam (still under construction it seem)

And the guy running it is Mubarak Alameeri the son of Rasheed Alameeri the Ex Oil Minster who has a counsalting office it seem ( my contact was not sure about it )

Kilna himam is a new advertising campaign; it doesn’t look like it’s for a company product, most some nationalistic campaign

What is strange is that no Kuwaiti blogger wrote about it, normally they attack every campaign, examples

Why they didn’t attack this one yet? I think because they don’t know who is behind it yet
They don’t want to attack it and then find out it’s by big guy and lose cool points .

I predict that once they find out it’s by someone with a Beard or from جمعيه الاصلاح الاجتماعى (how you translate that to English? Social fixing society? ) hell gates will be open, and Photoshop will be overused .

Searching for Digital Video camera

Anyone got any pointers of what should I look for?

What I want is a

  • Video camera
  • Use some kind of Memory that can be read by PC
  • Can do good still photo
  • Can be connected to PC to upload video/pictures < -- most important

    • I was told that Panasonic have good models, but I don’t know what to look for and I hate to buy something and find there was something better or with more options
    And I’m not looking to buy something high priced (no 3000$+ please :p ) a good priced one would do

    I’m not in a hurry also, still asking around
