Dubai Day Two

What happened to day one you may ask? I didn’t take any picture, got to love a lazy vacation

But I wouldn’t call it a vacation; I would say it’s a time out, just a small break from daily things and change of place

Anyway, I went to emirate mall, that place is huge, and has virgin store (oh wait every mall in Dubai has one)

Went to the movies and watched pirate of the Caribbean dead man chest, which should have been titled pirate of the Caribbean not finished yet

I never thought I would find a country with worse planning than Kuwait, sadly I was mistaken, Sharjah is worse

You would think that some of Dubai stuff would rub on it, but no, the airport is a disaster, the passport counter
(I thought we didn’t need those between GCC countries?) was set up in a way that there couldn’t be a line forming
So everyone pushed to get for a while, then they started forming a mess (the triangle line where there is 1 at counter and two behind him and three behind them) , also the airport is very very small

And the roads, they feel as if they were randomly built

Oh and i took air arabia, thats why i used sharjah airport , air arabia is fine , Just think of Kuwait airways economy without the meal and tea (they charge you for that), it has 2 rows with 3 chairs each

Watani Bank and FireFox

As one of the long saga in kuwait bloggers and where a lot kept on talking and sending e-mail after e-mail to Watani to fix the page and make it compatible with Firefox they finaly annouce that it work a week or two ago
as read mark blog

Well today i was using my UshopWEship account and tried to pay for a shipment , i had the account for over a month now and didn’t order anything till last week ( world cup and such ) i log in and the site look funky and bad [Firefox]

Normaly i don’t care how a site look like , if it work that all important , so anyway , i get the shipment and try to pay for it , and i keep on getting an error message from NBK site [error]
over and over and over , i switched from Visa credit card to Visa online , same thing , switch to Knet , same thing
after time and time and time i nearly got sick and was going to call the UshopWeship people and ask them to delete the account
then i remmbered ,, when i registered i was using IE and not Firefox , so i start IE , log into UshopWeship site and i got ” WOW ”
Check the page with [ IE ]

And clicking on NBK page to pay didn’t Give me the same Error ! and it worked with the same Credit card that they refused even to take its number before 19 times

So NBK site isn’t as combatible with Fire fox as they claim they are
I hope they fix their webpages ( both NBK and UshopWEship ) i switched and i’m not going back
